Joining us in Ljubljana this February are <\/span><b>Jess Kinn (ROAM Agency)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><b>Rok Ko\u0161ir<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (<\/span><b>Most Music Agency)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><b>Qu\u00e9rine Appeldorn (EBB Music)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, and <\/span><b>Juliana Volo\u017e (JV-Promotion)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Juliana Volo\u017e will take part in a conversation on showcasing in the spheres of traditional and contemporary roots music, alongside <\/span><b>Petra Hradilov\u00e1 (Czech Music Crossroads)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><b>Valentina Zanelli (Afrovision Festival, Torino Music Meeting Showcase Festival)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Meanwhile, <\/span><b>Bo\u017cena Szota (Ethno Port Festival, ZAMEK Culture Centre)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> will contribute her perspective to the UPBEAT Listening Session.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">One of the CE\/MENT debates will zoom in on booking agency work in the electronic music sphere, exploring what it means to build, support, and co-create artists\u2019 careers today. The discussion brings together <\/span><b>Jo Hunter<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, founder and managing director of <\/span><b>KLS Bookings<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><b>Katarzyna Stuczy\u0144ska (Annex Agency)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, and <\/span><b>Mark Grossmann (disconnect)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, with moderation by Berlin-based booking agent and event curator <\/span><b>Yuko Asanuma (setten)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Chris Angiolini<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> from Ravenna joins the panel dedicated to European venues. Back in 2003, he founded <\/span><b>Bronson Produzioni<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and went on to open the iconic <\/span><b>Hana-Bi<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> beach venue and <\/span><b>Bronson Club<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. He is also the mind behind the boutique festivals <\/span><b>Transmissions<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><b>Beaches Brew<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. The panel will be moderated by <\/span><b>Tom Bonte<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, general director of <\/span><b>Ancienne Belgique<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, one of Belgium\u2019s most renowned concert venues, right in the heart of Brussels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Slovenian perspectives will be well represented too. <\/span><b>Katarina Damjanov (Ljubljana Castle)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><b>Jan Surina (the legendary MKN\u017d)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> will share their insights from the local promoter landscape. A range of distinctive showcase festivals will also be in the room, including <\/span><b>Oskar \u0160trajn<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> from <\/span><b>ESNS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, Europe\u2019s leading showcase festival and conference, and <\/span><b>Tatiana Lehocka<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> from Slovakia\u2019s <\/span><b>SHARPE<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Lucia Udvardyov\u00e1 (Easterndaze, SHAPE+)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> will moderate the interview with the already announced Valentina Magaletti. Udvardyov\u00e1 currently works with the <\/span><b>SHAPE+<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> platform, a pan-European initiative supporting innovative music and audiovisual art, contributes to <\/span><b>CTM Festival<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2019s discourse programme and magazine, and she\u2019s the film curator at <\/span><b>WOMEX<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">With <\/span><b>Music Slovenia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> newly strengthened as the national music export office, its presence at MENT will be especially visible. Representing this momentum, <\/span><b>Primo\u017e Kristan<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, secretary general of the <\/span><b>Slovenian Music Information Centre (SIGIC)<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2013<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> a long-standing co-producer of the MENT Conference, will also take the stage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Finally, <\/span><b>Sebastian Hoffmann<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> will host an \u2018International Touring Survival Kit\u2019 presentation.
