As we put the finishing touches on the MENT 2026 conference programme, packed with interviews, round tables, mentorship sessions, networking moments, and, we hope, a few good laughs, we\u2019re excited to unveil another group of speakers ready to share their knowledge, experience, and spark.<\/span><\/p>\n

This announcement shines a light on several agents shaping artists\u2019 touring lives across Europe. Joining us in Ljubljana this February are <\/span>Jess Kinn (ROAM Agency)<\/b>, <\/span>Rok Ko\u0161ir<\/b> (<\/span>Most Music Agency)<\/b>, <\/span>Qu\u00e9rine Appeldorn (EBB Music)<\/b>, and <\/span>Juliana Volo\u017e (JV-Promotion)<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Juliana Volo\u017e will take part in a conversation on showcasing in the spheres of traditional and contemporary roots music, alongside <\/span>Petra Hradilov\u00e1 (Czech Music Crossroads)<\/b> and <\/span>Valentina Zanelli (Afrovision Festival, Torino Music Meeting Showcase Festival)<\/b>. Meanwhile, <\/span>Bo\u017cena Szota (Ethno Port Festival, ZAMEK Culture Centre)<\/b> will contribute her perspective to the UPBEAT Listening Session.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the CE\/MENT debates will zoom in on booking agency work in the electronic music sphere, exploring what it means to build, support, and co-create artists\u2019 careers today. The discussion brings together <\/span>Jo Hunter<\/b>, founder and managing director of <\/span>KLS Bookings<\/b>, <\/span>Katarzyna Stuczy\u0144ska (Annex Agency)<\/b>, and <\/span>Mark Grossmann (disconnect)<\/b>, with moderation by Berlin-based booking agent and event curator <\/span>Yuko Asanuma (setten)<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Chris Angiolini<\/b> from Ravenna joins the panel dedicated to European venues. Back in 2003, he founded <\/span>Bronson Produzioni<\/b> and went on to open the iconic <\/span>Hana-Bi<\/b> beach venue and <\/span>Bronson Club<\/b>. He is also the mind behind the boutique festivals <\/span>Transmissions<\/b> and <\/span>Beaches Brew<\/b>. The panel will be moderated by <\/span>Tom Bonte<\/b>, general director of <\/span>Ancienne Belgique<\/b>, one of Belgium\u2019s most renowned concert venues, right in the heart of Brussels.<\/span><\/p>\n

Slovenian perspectives will be well represented too. <\/span>Katarina Damjanov (Ljubljana Castle)<\/b> and <\/span>Jan Surina (the legendary MKN\u017d)<\/b> will share their insights from the local promoter landscape. A range of distinctive showcase festivals will also be in the room, including <\/span>Oskar \u0160trajn<\/b> from <\/span>ESNS<\/b>, Europe\u2019s leading showcase festival and conference, and <\/span>Tatiana Lehocka<\/b> from Slovakia\u2019s <\/span>SHARPE<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lucia Udvardyov\u00e1 (Easterndaze, SHAPE+)<\/b> will moderate the interview with the already announced Valentina Magaletti. Udvardyov\u00e1 currently works with the <\/span>SHAPE+<\/b> platform, a pan-European initiative supporting innovative music and audiovisual art, contributes to <\/span>CTM Festival<\/b>\u2019s discourse programme and magazine, and she\u2019s the film curator at <\/span>WOMEX<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

With <\/span>Music Slovenia<\/b> newly strengthened as the national music export office, its presence at MENT will be especially visible. Representing this momentum, <\/span>Primo\u017e Kristan<\/b>, secretary general of the <\/span>Slovenian Music Information Centre (SIGIC)<\/b> \u2013<\/span> a long-standing co-producer of the MENT Conference, will also take the stage.<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, <\/span>Sebastian Hoffmann<\/b> will host an \u2018International Touring Survival Kit\u2019 presentation. Based at the German Centre of the <\/span>International Theatre Institute (ITI)<\/b>, he coordinates the Touring Artists help desk, focusing on administrative regulations for cross-border cultural work. <\/span>
