\n<\/span>One show every season, kicking off with the <\/span>\u0161<\/b>pring edition, featuring a slew of artists who will take over Kino \u0160i\u0161ka for one day.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first headliner of the first \u0161MENT is a band that performed on the opening day of the very first MENT. The year was 2015, and Elektro Guzzi astounded us with their machine-like live techno performance.<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

With just a guitar, a bass, and drums, Elektro Guzzi blur the divide between analog and digital. Without using computers or loops, relying just on pure live playing, they leave audiences in awe, from top festivals like Roskilde, S\u00f3nar, and Sziget, to legendary clubs such as Fabric and Berghain.<\/span><\/p>\n

They are back with their eleventh studio album <\/span>Liquid Center<\/span><\/i>, which is sonically more focused than ever, yet simultaneously more open-ended. It presents the trio in a new light \u2013 their sense of precision and structure meets an unexpected depth and warmth. Their sound is now more restrained, more subtle, and therefore more expressive.<\/span><\/p>\n

It boasts a different character. And it also offers a different listening experience. The band developed a new recording technique that manages to translate their analog live energy into a sound image that captures both their physicality on stage as well as techno\u2019s cold abstraction. This results in a warm, deep, almost artificially precise expression that doesn\u2019t rely on loudness but rather detail. <\/span>Liquid Center <\/span><\/i>is far from just a random collection of songs.
