Building the Future of the Professional Music Scene Across the Wider Region

The regional initiative\u00a0<\/span>NEW FACES<\/b>\u00a0is now opening applications for its\u00a0<\/span>fourth edition<\/b>, a program designed to empower young professionals who work behind the scenes and play a vital role in creating and sustaining the music ecosystem. The program is rooted in\u00a0<\/span>active participation<\/b>: throughout 2026, the selected group of ten will take part in\u00a0<\/span>five partner showcase festivals and music conferences<\/b>, where they will be fully immersed in the professional environment, contribute to program development, and engage in networking opportunities. This hands-on experience enables participants to gain practical industry insight, build meaningful relationships, and become active co-creators of the future regional music ecosystem.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNew Faces gives young professionals more than recognition \u2014 it gives them a voice, a network, and the chance to contribute in a real way. More than 80% of the 30 alumni from the program\u2019s first three editions are still actively shaping the regional scene, taking on leadership roles and strengthening the industry around them. Their journey shows what becomes possible when the next generation is trusted, supported, and included.\u201d<\/span><\/i> \u2014 Representatives of the partner conferences<\/span><\/p>\n

Who Should Apply?<\/b><\/h1>\n

The program is open to young professionals\u00a0<\/span>up to 30 years old (in 2026)<\/b>\u00a0working in\u00a0<\/span>non-performing roles<\/b>\u00a0essential to the music industry, including\u00a0<\/span>management, booking, promotion, event organization, PR & communications, music journalism & publishing, and production<\/b>, as well as other behind-the-scenes positions.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Please note:<\/b>\u00a0this call\u00a0<\/span>does not<\/b>\u00a0apply to performing artists.<\/span><\/p>\n
