On February 15th we will close MENT #11 with CE\/MENT @ Kino \u0160i\u0161ka. After this year’s premiere of the event, we\u2019re planning the next chapter with a different range of sounds and ideas. <\/span>

\n<\/span>First announced name for the evening is <\/span>Djrum<\/b><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>

Felix Manuel aka Djrum is a perennially acclaimed underground artist, who has quietly built a list of fans that reads like a who\u2019s who of contemporary dance music. <\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>A master in genre-fluidity both as a DJ and producer, he is renowned for his ability to deftly fuse a range of genres from jazz, hip-hop and dubstep to ambient, techno, footwork, jungle and many more. A keen listener of all things new and old, whether it be singer and composer Meredith Monk, Palestrina\u2019s early sacred music, John Cage’s solo piano works or more latterly the rhythmic experimentation of the artists on Livity Sound and Ilian Tape, his talent is in effortlessly combining his influences into a completely personal and bewitching aesthetic. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\r\n
