Valentina Zanelli
Valentina is a cultural management professional with a strong international focus and extensive experience in artistic direction, strategic planning, and the development of international cultural networks. She is the festival director and founder of AfroVision, an interdisciplinary platform dedicated to promoting Afro-descendant cultures. In 2024, she also founded the showcase festival Torino Music Meeting, which fosters connections between musicians, cultural operators, festival directors, and audiences through a participatory approach aimed at creating and strengthening European networks for emerging musicians and live music venues. Throughout her career, she has served as a counselor and advisor for international festivals, contributing to programming, institutional relations, and artistic direction. She actively collaborates with artistic organizations across Europe, Latin America, and Africa, and is involved in the development of transnational projects such as MASA (Marché des Arts du Spectacle d’Abidjan) in Côte d’Ivoire, one of the most important performing arts markets in Africa.
