Shilla is a festival curator, concert organiser, lecturer, and journalist based in Vienna. Interested in the shared sensibilities of subculture and avant-garde practices, her curatorial work focuses on electronic music, foregrounding sonic experimentation and dissident musical languages. Strelka founded the platform Struma+Iodine in 2012. Since 2015, she has been the artistic and general director of Unsafe+Sounds Festival, as well as music co-curator of Elevate Festival in Graz. She teaches at the University of Applied Sciences in Salzburg and works as a guest lecturer at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. She writes for various magazines and has previously served as editor-in-chief of mica – music Austria.
