Sébastien ‘Scott’ Gillot

Scott is a French music agent and the driving force of the Soyouz booking agency, also known as Soyouz [Folklore Moderne]. The agency specialises in representing a diverse range of artists and bands that blend traditional folklore with modern influences. Established in 2002, Soyouz has built a reputation for curating and promoting alternative music from around the world, including genres like Finnish blues, Jewish-Yemenite pop, South African electronic and Colombian experimental music. Their roster includes bands such as Altin Gün, The Ex, Meridian Brothers, Yalla Miku and many others, reflecting its commitment to a rich mix of global sounds. The agency aims to connect these artists with French, Swiss and, in the case of certain acts, also European audiences. He is also involved in the Swiss music scene, spending half of his time in Geneva and creating links with local entities like Bongo Joe Records, Mazurka, Cave 12, L’Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp and Face Z.
