Olga Sismanidi
Olga is a project officer and a senior expert on EU funding. At the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), she steers the music portfolio of the European Music Networks and Music Platforms representing music, opera, festivals and cross-sectorial performing arts and acts as a liaison with these sectors alongside the Music Moves Europe initiative (Green Belt Nexus). Her portfolio covers thematic dossiers on working conditions and remuneration, artificial intelligence for the Cultural and Creative Sectors (CCS), digitalisation and discoverability while ensuring links with the orchestras funding action and the cross-sectorial strand of the programme. Her work draws on expertise in EU programmes evaluation, performance management and data. She previously led the ‘Access to Finance’ action under the EU Media Programme and the European Platforms action across the full programme cycle. She has held multiple roles on other EU funding programmes for innovation – research, entrepreneurship and technology after her time in the private communications industries, the IFPI and the BBC World Service.
