Natasja Alers
Natasja is a Dutch artist, DJ, and the co-founder and artistic director of Grauzone Festival, established in 2013. The multidisciplinary underground festival in The Hague centers on music, visual art, film, performance, and talks, all interconnected. Raised in a musical and creative environment, she is also active as a sculptor and ceramic artist, creating both intimate and large-scale works in and outside the Netherlands. As one of the few female festival directors in the Dutch alternative scene, Alers has played a key role in creating space for underground, politically engaged, and queer artists. Under her direction, Grauzone has been nominated three years in a row (2022, 2023, 2024) for “Best Festival of the Netherlands,” recognized not only for its musical innovation but also for its progressive social vision. Since its inception, the festival has been fully vegan and guided by a strong sustainability policy.
