Lisa Meyer

Lisa is the artistic director and CEO of Capsule, which she co-founded in 1999. Capsule has grown into a leading curator and producer of experimental music and art, showcasing international artists, nurturing homegrown talent and celebrating counterculture. Capsule is responsible for several high-profile projects, including the internationally renowned experimental music and arts festival Supersonic. Since 2003 Supersonic has been hosting superior weekends for adventurous audiences and has been named as UK’s premier experimental music festival. Lisa was responsible for conceiving and curating the Home Of Metal heritage project. Home of Metal’s exhibitions and events join the dots between music, social history, visual art and fan cultures to produce a new perspective on heavy metal. She was also the metal curator for Black Sabbath – The Ballet by the Birmingham Royal Ballet in 2023.
