Katrin Pröll

Katrin is the director of the Salam Music & Arts Festival in Vienna, an interdisciplinary festival focusing on music, arts, and culture from the SWANA region (South West Asia and North Africa). Salam Music brings together international and local artists and presents concerts, performances, exhibitions and discursive formats that engage with contemporary social and cultural issues. She is also the founder and director of Atlas Promotion, a Vienna-based cultural agency through which she has been developing and producing international music, arts, and performance projects for more than 20 years. In her work, Katrin has a strong commitment to intercultural exchange, grounded in art as a space of dialogue.
