Katja Jukić

Katja, a graduate student of Portuguese and Croatian language and literature, started as a music journalist after completing a course in rock ‘n’ roll journalism in 2019. Following her first job at Sound Report, she quickly advanced and joined Glazba.hr in November 2021. Her passion for the music industry led her to volunteer at KSET, diving into concert production and stage management. In 2022, she took on a PR role at Zagreb’s Tvornica Kulture venue, later joining the independent label JeboTon. As a PR professional, she has also contributed to festivals such as Velvet and Sea Star. Recognised for her dedication and talent, Katja was named one of the ten most promising young music professionals in the New Faces 2024 initiative, organised by regional showcase festivals. She remains deeply engaged with the Croatian and regional music scenes, focusing on emerging and independent artists. Concerts and festivals are her greatest passion, alongside writing about them.
