Jaka Berger

Jaka is one of the most active, creative and flexible drummers, percussionists, composers and improvisers on the Slovenian music scene in the last 15 years. Since 2014, he has been making music with self-made prepared drums, recording and releasing solo works that have been covered in international publications for improvised music. In recent years, he has run percussion and music improvisation workshops and given private lessons. He is actively expanding his knowledge and experience with various musicians and improvisers from around the world, as well as developing a concept for his workshops as a collective creative space based on improvisation and communication. He is the leader of Clockwork Orange, the Slovenian community of modular synthesis enthusiasts that involves many artists active in various fields of art.
