Gabriele Steffe

Gabriele is the curator and founder of the collective/event series Nimaš Izbire, which since 2019 aims to support and connect new generations of Ljubljana’s underground club and electronic music scene. He started as a DJ and organiser at Klub K4, but his interest quickly grew into more experimental electronic music outlets inspired by post-internet culture. He currently runs various activities within the Nimaš Izbire collective: Štrom is dedicated to adventurous (post)club music, *Krom to alter pop live performances and Rosišče to deep listening sessions. He is responsible for the Slovenian debuts of artists such as Evanora Unlimited, Lorenzo Senni, Torus, Bungalovv, the Soul Feeder collective, Babii, Fakethias and many others. As DJ gabi98, he plays with a wide spectrum of unconventional electronic expressions, combining internet-inspired scenes with the legacy of rave and ethnic sounds from around the world.
