Filip Koštálek

Filip is an experienced programmer and cultural producer with over a decade of experience in the international music and festival scene. For the last 10 years, he has worked for the Czech Republic’s largest international music festival, Colours of Ostrava, where he recently became the festival’s artistic director. The festival takes place in an industrial venue with the capacity of over 50,000 people, including 8 music stages, 7 discussion stages, and more than 120 bands from around the world. In addition, he also participates in other events, including Festival in the Streets – Art & Life and the international music conference and showcase festival Czech Music Crossroads. His work bridges genres and cultures, bringing cutting-edge global talent to new audiences. He has collaborated with celebrated artists and has been honored with the European Festival Award, named among IQ Magazine’s New Bosses, and featured in Forbes 30 Under 30.
