Chris Eckman

A musician, producer, and label owner, Chris entered the music business via the 80’s Seattle music scene. His band The Walkabouts was one of the first acts signed to the legendary Sub Pop label. He has produced over 30 albums, working with global music artists like Tamikrest, Aziza Brahim, and Damir Imamović. In 2013, he co-founded the award-winning Glitterbeat Records, a label dedicated to releasing contemporary music from all over the world. Their artists include Altin Gün, Yīn Yīn, Širom, and Catherine Graindorge.
