Borja Močnik – Borka

For over two decades, Borja Močnik – Borka has kept himself busy in true octopus style: playing records, promoting club nights, making beats, running a label, working at two radio stations, writing as a music journalist, playing in a band, and, more recently, co-curating Jazz Festival Ljubljana. Known for his exceptional versatility as a DJ, he co-runs a label called rx:tx and is part of Tetkine Radosti, a three-man digging expedition unearthing jazz, funk, and rock gems from the former socialist homeland. His band, a dynamic tour de force featuring two DJs and a drummer, is called Jimmy Barka Experience.
