We Hate You Please Die
“The eclectic garage-punk quartet is a mishmash of pretty much everything under the sun that might be termed raw and unconventional. This translates to a broad soundscape that is part garage-punk, part messy hardcore, part singable lo-fi indie and a whole lot of unpredictable.”
Cole Faulkner, The Punk Site
We Hate You Please Die is a band hard to pin down. From scathing punk rock fury, jangly garage pop elation and riotous incitement of revolutionary ideas and darkly poetic introspection, the French three-piece powerhouse seems to revel in the confusion they elicit. On their latest album Chamber Songs, released in September 2024, the trio takes solace in noise and self-examinations. The album unfolds like a personal musical diary marked by furious lyrics floating above tense and violent riffs.
