Opium Hum pres.: Chronoextasy a/v (feat. Tasya)
World Premiere
DJ and curator Opium Hum joins forces with light artist and designer Tasya for an immersive world-premiere performance probing the synaesthetic relationship between machine rhythms, strobe-warped sensory overload and the chronoecstatic disruption of rave.
Opium Hum (Germany)
Michail has been a driving force in the global electronic music underground for over 15 years. Internationally recognised as one of the faces and lead programmers of Boiler Room, he is also a curator for the annual CTM Festival in Berlin. Additionally, he has been involved with long-running events such as Leisure System and ≠ (Not Equal) at Berlin institution Berghain. Having performed in over 40 countries, including China, Pakistan, Georgia, Peru, Vietnam, and Uganda, Michail is also a resident at São Paulo’s infamous Vampire Haus warehouse raves and his own traveling event series, Hyper Real, which currently holds a residency at Prague’s Fuchs2 club.
Tasya (Czechia)
Tasya (she/they) is a Prague-based audiovisual artist, light designer and a DJ. As an artist, they focus on video as a primary medium, smashing and dismantling 3D renders, video and text, putting their digital physicality to test and creating new relationships on the base of its remains. Their most recent notable collaborations include the premiere of the AV show with Rlung at Lunchmeat Festival 2022, visuals for one of the stages at Shotgun Festival 2023 and an audiovisual project in collaboration with timmi at the Sound Dome in the House of Music in Budapest, Hungary.
As a light designer, they operated lights for Tirzah at Primavera Porto 2024, Coby Sey and Bianca Scout among others. Some of the most iconic gigs of 2024 include designing and operating the atmo for Posh Isolation 15 Years Anniversary at F2 together with Blindepartment, GbClifford’s world premiere at Lunchmeat Festival 2024 and the album release in Underdogs. Tasya regularly collaborates with Lunchmeat Festival on lights throughout the year, Konektiv Nights and music projects such as GbClifford, post-hudba, Dukla and Amelie Siba. Tasya is part of Lunchmeat Studio and Lunchmeat Festival and a music curator for the Mezipatra Queer Film Festival.
