Laplander is a Serbian band that merges Slavic heritage with the evolving sounds of the internet. Founded by Azza & Kapale and Niko Nikolić, their 2020 self-titled debut album defies musical conventions, treating abstract lyrics, psychedelic melodies, and deconstructed arrangements as intertwined rather than separate. In 2023, they welcomed Boris Milanović, expanding their sound as they toured the Balkans. This tour inspired their live album Uživo, released in 2024, highlighting their signature blend of fragmented yet cohesive compositions that challenge the listener.
