Slovenian artist Januš Aleš Luznar, also known as Yanoosh, masterfully works with hand-crafted acoustic instruments from around the world while exploring contemporary electronic sound design. Inspired by his roots in downtempo, trip-hop, and electronic music, Luznar’s sound has gradually evolved toward meditative ambient soundscapes that seek to transcend the boundaries of personal expression. Central to his music is a collection of custom instruments – ancient lyres, African harps, frame drums, and kalimbas – all tuned and reinterpreted far beyond their cultural origins.
