“Taking the keening euro-goth travails of Xmal Deutschland and processing it through a relentless Suicide-esque synth-punk furore, ‘Para los Pies Cansados’ (meaning ‘For Tired Feet’ in Spanish) sounds like a soundtrack to the blood-sprinkling discos from the opening scene of Blade. It’s giving a kind of vampirically evil hypnosis that will take me out to the greatest party of my life and generously indulge me in all the most viciously transcendent pleasures.”
Elvis Thirwell, So Young Magazine

eat-girls is a French three-piece from Lyon which blends a wide range of genres such as pop, post-punk, minimal synth, krautrock and dub. Their signature sound unfolds like an abstract dream, with unexpected rhythms and each note evoking a sense of improvisation. Their music is introspective, illustrating shapes that linger in the listener’s mind. Amélie, Elisa, and Maxence craft their sound in their apartment, using a mix of voices, bass, guitar, synths and even small objects. Live they reimagine their studio creations, adding a raw and spontaneous energy to their performances.
