aya’s work is primarily concerned with the transfigurative power of experience and memory on the physical body. Melding the sprawling bifurcations of soundsystem culture with delocalised internet scenes and post-hardcore lamentations, she casts stark sculptures in genre alloy. Apart from releases on labels like Hypedub and Wisdom Teeth, she is also known as remix gun-for-hire. Her debut LP im hole (2021) earned critical acclaim, and hexed! (2025) followed with even greater praise. She also DJs, performs live, runs YCO, and scores projects for BBC, NTS, CTM Festival and others.

The acclaimed light, video, and scenography artist MFO has been active on the electronic music circuit since the early 2000s, touring extensively with artists like Aisha Devi, Ben Frost, Caterina Barbieri, and Tim Hecker, while also working as Berlin Atonal’s director for light and visuals. He explores perception and cognition, memory, and identity, and their dissolution in mind-altering experiences.

Their collaborative project is a powerfully immersive and utterly entertaining AV show like no other.
